A Call to Organisations, Unions, and Businesses
For 50 years, Comhlámh has been at the heart of building and mobilising Ireland’s global justice movement.
We are a community of international volunteers, returned development workers, and solidarity activists united by a shared vision: a world beyond injustice.
As we navigate an era of deepening inequality, climate breakdown, racism, and political fragmentation, the need for bold, values-led action has never been more urgent. Our work is built on long-term solidarity, and we are inviting organisations and socially conscious businesses to stand with us at this turning point and support our work.
Stand With Us. Strengthen the Movement. Shape the Future.
Why Your Organisation’s Support Matters
By contributing to the Comhlámh Solidarity Fund, your organisation is choosing to support long-term systems change, values-led practice, and a future built on justice. Our work is rooted in solidarity, care, and principled resistance to the root causes of injustice. It is work that is essential.
Every contribution is an act of solidarity and says:
We believe in shared responsibility. We believe in deep, systemic change and that another world is not only possible – it’s necessary.
Why Support Comhlámh?
Standing in solidarity through this fund means joining a wider movement for justice and sustainability. It’s about building a collective future, not just supporting a single organisation. You will:
- Stand for shared values and amplify the impact of an organisation that has spent five decades building solidarity-based movements for change.
- Invest in strengthening a principled, independent and courageous community – rooted in solidarity, integrity, and principled action.
- Build long-term collaborations across civil society, unions, and values-led businesses.
- Have visibility on our communication channels, in reports, and at events (if desired).
- Gain opportunities for collaboration and knowledge exchange within a trusted network.
- Get access to our Dublin community spaces.
- Gain a shared platform to advocate for solidarity-based change.
- Deepened alignment with one of Ireland’s longest-standing global justice organisations.

Examples of What Your Support Enables
Your solidarity powers real, grounded work that challenges injustice and reimagines global engagement.
The Solidarity Fund sustains and expands these and more critical efforts:
Standing with Global Movements
Led by partners from the Global South, we host solidarity events that centre their messages and amplify their struggles. We support campaigning, educational initiatives, and advocacy led by our Member Groups organised around the pursuit of social and economic change.
Creating Brave Spaces for Learning and Action
We offer spaces – physical, online, and collective – for education, dialogue, and connection across movements, sectors, and generations. See Our Courses here
Ending Orphanage Volunteering – Protecting Children’s Rights Globally
We are at the forefront of the campaign to end orphanage volunteering and support child-centred care reform.
Values Led Volunteering for Justice
Through our Code of Good Practice, we nurture values-led volunteering rooted in solidarity and support returned volunteers to stay engaged in global justice and act with purpose.
Sustaining the independence and integrity of our work
Your support helps ensure that we remain principled, proactive, focused on systemic change and can speak truth to power without compromise
