The Trade Justice Group works to raise awareness of how unfair trade rules exacerbate global inequality, expand corporate power and undermine the fight for climate justice.

Unfair trade rules maintain an asymmetry of power and wealth between countries of the Global South and countries of the Global North that finds its roots in colonialism. Countries of the Global South lose much more through unfair trade rules than they receive in aid from rich countries.

If we want a more equal world and climate justice, global trade rules need to change.
