The below directory only lists volunteer sending agencies which share our vision around values-led volunteering and which are signed up to our Code of Good Practice. This gives you peace of mind as you think and work through your options for volunteering overseas.

Every Volunteer Sending Agency, which is a signatory to the Code of Good Practice, has undergone the assessment process and commits to the implementation of the Code’s five values, including Solidarity, Social Justice, Ecological Sustainability, Respect, and Integrity, that underpin the work of international volunteer programmes. Under each value, there is a set of principles and indicators which provide guidance for the development and implementation of volunteer sending programmes.
