This is a programme for Comhlámh Code Volunteer Sending Agencies
WHEN: Sessions will take place on the last Thursday of every month, beginning Thursday, 28 October, from 11.30am to 1pm.
On 28 October, Comhlámh is starting a new Development Education programme for Code of Good Practice Volunteer Sending Agencies. Developed in collaboration with the Code Volunteering and Development Education Committee, this 6-session package aims to provide accessible and engaging sessions and will work to build the capacity of the organisations to further integrate development education into programmes. The package is purposefully varied, ranging from sessions based on peer reflection and mapping to one-off workshops based on a particular theme, educational resources or tools. We’re delighted to have Code Signatories Development Perspectives and Tearfund Ireland leading on two of these sessions.
Reading and viewing list will accompany the sessions (optional but recommended!) and we will share exciting development education resources with participants, all of which can be adapted for ongoing or new work you are undertaking within your organisation.
This training programme is aimed at staff of Code Volunteer Sending Agencies but board members and others volunteering with the organisation are more than welcome (anybody in fact who can make the 11.30-1pm slots).
If this is of interest, please register on Eventbrite.
Sessions will take place on the last Thursday of every month, beginning Thursday,28 October, from 11.30am to 1pm.
