Join us for the meeting of our ‘Put Children First: End Orphanage Care’ pledge and Student Action Group to help us end orphanage volunteering.
We are meeting on Thursday, 25 November, 7PM.
We hope to see you there!
Comhlámh and Tearfund Ireland invite all students to join us in our work to end orphanage volunteering and the institutionalisation of children.
If you are a student in a college or a university and interested in global justice issues, international development and relations, children’s rights and/or social care – come along to the Meeting of our Student Action Group on Thursday, 25th of November at 7PM on Zoom. We will be discussing how to grow awareness around the pledge and formulating ideas for the Student Action Groups going forward. If in the meantime you would like to sign and share our pledge, please feel free to do so now.
So far we have two Student Action Groups set up – one in Maynooth University and one in the NUI Galway. New students from both universities are always welcome to join, as well as students who would like to explore setting up Student Action Groups in other universities across Ireland.
Join us on 25 November, 7:00-8.30pm and contact Emma at intern@comhlamh.org if you have any questions.
