Resourcing Solidarity

Fern by Kristine Virsis from the JustSeeds artists collective
Resourcing Solidarity is a free-to-access online offering. It offers you the opportunity to deepen perspective on topics including solidarity, change work, and (un) sustainability.
Unlike other learning platforms, this one does not set out to transmit new knowledge on these topics (to ‘fill your cup’ as educator Vanessa Andreotti says). Instead, it is designed to support you to reflect upon what you already know (what is already in your cup) and to move out from there. While there is structure, ‘Resourcing Solidarity’ isn’t offered as a linear journey with a start and a finish. You are invited to ‘engage’ with it, and to return to it as many times as you like, as you need to.
Is this offer for you?
Resourcing Solidarity will be a good fit for you if you:
- are already on a journey with these topics (solidarity, change work, [un] sustainability), either through experience in activism or volunteering and/or from studies
- feel open to considering your own relationship to these topics – how do you connect to them; how do they connect to you?
- feel ready for/ open to a slow(er) and reflective learning journey
If you are newer to these topics and this learning approach, you might consider starting with our other course (also freely available) called ‘E-TICK’.
E-TICK can be found here. It provides an engaging introduction to critical thinking, reflexivity and covers topics including culture, power and ‘development’.
