Zamda is a charity set up through St. Josephs C.B.S. in Fairview which provides aid to a number of projects and initiatives in Kabwe in Zambia. Our aim is to support and work shoulder to shoulder with our host community, to provide financial, material and manpower assistance as requested, to give what support we can to enable our hosts to bring their projects and initiatives to fruition.
No age limit; persons to be fit and healthy
Depends on the disability; physical disability severely restricting mobility would be a difficulty.
No specific qualifications required; we have a role for everyone.
Must be open-minded, tolerant, sociable, flexible, adaptable and not be fussy as regards food!

All short-term volunteers pay their own costs – the next group of volunteers will be paying €1,500 to cover flights, food, transport. Inoculations, anti-malarial drugs are not covered.
Long-term volunteers may be given an allowance to cover living expenses i.e. food and accommodation.
