Mission Statement

VMM International are an international development and volunteering organisation with 50 years of experience sending volunteers to communities in Africa, playing our part to deliver on the Sustainable Development Goals. We offer long term (one to two years) and short term (four weeks to six months) placements with our reputable, civic, community and diocesan partner organisations, who address those needs most important to local people. Projects tend to cover education, health, community development, livelihoods and human rights initiatives through a partnership approach, to “share who we are and not just what we have”; creating transformative results for both the community and the volunteer. VMM International is a faith-based group. However, we maintain an all-inclusive organisation and welcome volunteers, members and partners from all backgrounds, regardless of religion, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity or politics.
