Join us for the launch of our ‘Put Children First: End Orphanage Care’ pledge and Student Action Group to help us end orphanage volunteering.

The event will take place on Wednesday, 10 November, 7-8:30PM.

We hope to see you there!

Comhlamh and Tearfund Ireland invite you to join us in our work to end orphanage volunteering and the institutionalisation of children.

If you are a student in a college or a university and interested in global justice issues, international development and relations, children’s rights and/or social care – come along to our workshop on the 10th of November where we will hear from Peter K Muthui, Director and Co-Founder of Child in Family Focus Kenya and care expert with lived experience, on the work to end orphanage volunteering and the global institutionalisation of children.

At the session, we will officially launch our Put Children First: End Orphanage Care Campaign’s Pledge and set up our Student Action Group which will lead on the work on campus to increase awareness of the issues of orphanage care and orphanage volunteering.
